In Silver Bay Minnesota along the North Shore of Lake Superior there is the stunning Tettegouche State Park!
Can you get married at Tettegouche State Park?
Yes! Getting married at Tettegouche State Park is the perfect spot for any north shore elopement. The park allows permits for folks so planning 3-6 months before your elopement is highly advised. It's great for smaller groups of 2-10 guests.
What does a Tettegouche Elopement Involve?
Most clients I work with are looking to get away from the crowds and to be off the beaten path. Tettegouche State Park has 9,346 acres of space to hike and get away from any park-goers. For this sunrise elopement, the couple wanted to bring their favorite donuts and coffee to enjoy while watching the sunrise over Lake Superior. We hiked in while it was pitched black outside with only headlamps to keep us on the trail. Once we arrived a beautiful sunrise happened over the lake.
